The Seeker (18 min)
The Seeker, the first part of the BeneathGround trilogy, is a cinematic journey into the underground and our bodily connection to the underground. The work follows three archetypal figures—the Wanderer, the Merger, and the Seeker—in a world where darkness, folklore, and animism intertwine. In the shelter of the forest, the Seeker enters a rite of passage on the threshold of perimenopause, celebrating the body’s and life’s transformations. The Seeker is a ritual of love, embodiment, and connection with the layers of the earth.

The Seeker asks: To what realms can the fairy — or her alter ego, the radical fairy — extend her power of love?
Clad in the lilac cloak, the figure seeks her kin, preparing for a journey into darkness, beyond the moon, toward the crone, toward the line between heart and womb. This ritual is dedicated to the darkness, to cunt-power, to the living pleasure of the body, and to the love for all that is born, dying, and existing.
